A Sacramento native, Alex comes from a family of accountants and bookkeepers. He founded Atlas Accounting in 2013 after noticing the distinct lack of affordable and quality CPA firms in the region. During his tenure at Atlas Accounting, Alex has overseen the growth of the company from a small home-run business to an up-and-coming firm with clients coming from all over the greater Sacramento region and Northern California. Alex obtained his A.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Sierra College and is currently completing his B.A. in Business and Accounting at Humboldt State University to sit for the CPA examination. During his free time, Alex enjoys building high-performance computers and spending time with his new fiancé.

With over 25 years of accounting experience, Natalya is no amateur when it comes to maintaining a company’s books. She obtained her B.S. in Accounting from Narxoz University in Kazakhstan, and subsequently moved to the United States in 1994. Natalya completed additional education at Sierra College to be eligible to sit for the rigorous CPA examination. Over the years, Natalya has worked in a variety of positions raging from accountant to tax preparer and eventually became the corporate controller of a Sacramento-based HR firm. Because of her unconventional carrier path, Natalya has a wide breadth of accounting knowledge in both bookkeeping and taxation, and is always completing additional education to keep her knowledge up-to-date. She has served in her current role as the Controller of Atlas Accounting since 2013. During her free time, Natalya enjoys spending time with her family (and dog!), traveling, and experimenting with various recipes.

Alexander is the newest member of the firm and brings several years of corporate accounting experience with him to the Atlas team. Alex spent much of his childhood in Sacramento, and eventually moved to Santa Cruz, CA where he attended the University of California, Santa Cruz. Upon completion of his B.A. in Business Economics (with an emphasis in accounting), Alexander started his career at a “Big 4” accounting firm, KPMG LLP. During his time at the firm, Alex mainly served high-technology clients in the Silicon Valley, conducting financial audits and IPO readiness tasks. He eventually moved back to Sacramento after realizing that city life was not exactly cut out for him and began his position at Atlas Accounting during the summer of 2018. During his free time, Alex enjoys baking, visiting new cities in California and is an active instrument-rated private pilot.
